Important: Since 2025, the Turin Immigration Office has been divided into three separate locations. You should know which office concerns you before you go, otherwise you risk wasting precious time.
Note on the future: All locations in the Santo Volto area are expected to be consolidated by mid-2026. Until then, the three locations will remain operational separately.

1. Via Dorè, 3 — Headquarters
Handles renewals, initial issuance, conversions, and photo identification. Open Monday through Thursday.

2. Via Ruffini, 11 — Asylum and Travel Documents
Operational since March 2025. It deals with asylum seekers, travel documents for refugees and stateless persons, and general information on immigration.

3. Via Botticelli, 116 — Permit Collection Only
Operational from February 2025. Dedicated exclusively to the collection of ready-made residence permits. No other operations will be carried out.

Practical advice: Especially at the Via Dorè location, queues form early in the morning. It is advisable to arrive before 8:30 am to reduce waiting times, especially on Mondays and after public holidays.
How to get to the 3 locations
The Via Dorè and Via Ruffini branches are both located in the central-western area, near Porta Susa station. Via Botticelli is located in the northern suburbs, in the Barriera di Milano area.

How to Book an Appointment
The Questura of Turin uses different booking channels depending on the type of procedure and the reference location:
1. Kit Postale (standard renewals and releases)
For the first issue and the renewal of the residence permit, you must send the Kit Postale to an authorized post office. After sending it, you will receive a appointment letter or SMS with the date, time, and location of the appointment (usually Via Dorè 3 for photo identification). To collect the document, you will be called to Via Botticelli 116.
2. Prenota Facile (non-postalized applications)
For procedures that do not pass through Kit Postale, you must book online via the portal PrenotaFacile.poliziadistato.itCovered applications include:
- Conversion of residence permit
- Subsidiary protection
- Residence permit for family members of EU citizens
- Leave for medical treatment or pregnancy
- Travel documents for refugees and stateless persons
Register on the portal, choose an available date and time, print the receipt with barcode and QR code. Introduce yourself. maximum 15 minutes before of the appointment.
3. Direct access — Via Ruffini 11
The headquarters of Via Ruffini 11 receives asylum seekers without an appointment Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The information desk is open Monday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for general inquiries regarding immigration procedures. Families are welcome on Thursday afternoons, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For official communications and supplementary documents, the Turin branch of the Questura branch has activated a dedicated PEC address. When sending documents via PEC, remember to:

- Always attach copy of passport

Documents to Bring to the Appointment
When you show up at one of the locations for photo identification or to collect your permit, bring with you:
- Letter of invitation or postal receipt of the Kit
- Passport valid (original + photocopy)
- Previous residence permit (if I renew)
- Tax ID code
- 4 photos passport size (white background, recent)
- Revenue stamp from €16.00 (for the collection of the electronic permit)
- SPECic documentation based on the type of permit (employment contract, university enrollment, marriage certificate, etc.)
For collection in Via Botticelli 116: Bring the collection letter, an ID, and the €16.00 stamp duty. Collection is personal and cannot be delegated.
